Invoiced stands out from the many other online invoice generators by being easy to use. The site's only purpose is to generate invoices. We believe that you should be spending your time focusing on work, not billing. Invoiced was built because it was something we desperately needed. We have chosen to make it free in hopes of saving others from the frustrations we encountered with free invoice generators.
First, make sure you are using a modern web browser. We recommend Firefox.
Making invoices is simple. Fill out the invoice template with all of the desired information. Once you are ready, it is as simple as clicking Generate PDF to make your invoice. If you made a mistake, don't worry, you can go back and update the invoice. When taken to the 'Thank you' page, just click Return to Invoice to make corrections.
Invoices can be sent straight out of Invoiced. Fill out the invoice template with all of the desired information. Once ready, click the E-mail button at the top. You will be taken to a form where you need to specify which e-mail address to send the invoice to and your name. You can optionally add your e-mail address so that any replies go to you. We also allow a custom message to be attached. At the bottom of the E-mail page, there is a preview of what the e-mail will look like to the recipient. If you don't believe us, send an invoice to yourself first.
NOTE: currently we only allow invoices to be sent to one e-mail address at a time.
Invoices can be saved by clicking the green Save button. If the button is grayed out then that means the invoice is new or no changes have been made since saving. Saving does not happen automatically, meaning you are responsible for saving your work. Before closing out the page, please remember to save any desired changes.
Saved invoices can be accessed under My Invoices. Invoices are sorted by the order in which they were created. Clicking the trash can on any invoice will erase the corresponding invoice.
Clicking Clear History on the My Invoices page will erase all invoices and the default invoice template.
We have built the option for you to change the default values for new invoices. Fields that are allowed to change are:
Warning! Erasing your browser history will clear all of your invoices. If keeping the invoices permanently is important to you, please keep a backup of each PDF.
Invoiced uses a cool technology called HTML5 localStorage to store invoices. The app was built using AngularJS, an incredible Javascript framework.
Invoiced does not store any of your information on its servers. Information only gets stored to your browser's local storage when you explicitly choose to. The functionality on Invoiced is provided "as is" with no expressed or implied warranties. By using Invoiced you agree to not hold its owner liable for any consequential or incidental damages.
